Take the kids and a blanket and stay the whole day. You can relax under a tree and let the kids play in the open grass any sport they feel like playing. Come on a weekend and you might catch a baseball game.

Tecolote Rec Center has a great park for the kids. the restrooms are not the best, but they are clean and usually stocked pretty well. Its located on the east side of Sea World, so the traffic can be tricky.
